Description

Infertility means an inability of a couple to conceive even after one year of regular unprotected intercourse. Incidence of infertility is about 10-15% worldwide. Infertility is a problem of the couple, Female is responsible in about 30%, Male in about 30%. Both contribute in about 30% and in remaining 10% it is unexplained. This means both partners contribute equally for the cause of infertility. There are two types of Infertility: 1.Primary infertility is defined as infertility without any previous pregnancy. 2.Secondary infertility is failure to conceive following a previous pregnancy.
